Doreen Kline Photography Wins the 2010 Bride’s Choice Award !

Wedding Wire, the Nation’s Leading Wedding Technology company, just announced Doreen Kline Photography has been selected to receive the 2010 Bride’s Choice Award for Outstanding Quality and Service for Wedding Photography for 2010.

The annual Bride’s Choice Awards recognizes and celebrates excellence in quality and service within the wedding industry, as determined by recent reviews and extensive surveys from over 500,000 newleyweds.

Fort Myers Beach Engagement Photography | Meredith and Gary

Fort Myers Engagement Photography- Last night I had the pleasure of photographing Meredith and Gary’s Engagement Session on Fort Myers Beach. Gary and Meredith are here for the Christmas holiday vacationing from Illinois. They are getting married in June and wanted some beach engagement images while they were here. We were surprised there were 2 weddings going on at sunset, but managed to find some isolated areas with the driftwood for some romantic engagement photos. They are a wonderful couple and are having lots of fun on their winter vacation. Here are a few of my favorite images from last night.

Nikki and Greg Marry at Grandezza

Grandezza Wedding Photography, Grandezza Country Club, Estero, Florida.  This weekend we had the pleasure of going to Grandezza to photograph Nikki and Greg’s Wedding.  Grandezza Country Club is so beautiful, and their banquet director, Sean Hynes and the rest of the staff are delightful to work with for Grandezza Weddings and Events.

Nikki and Greg and their wedding party were alot of fun.   A few months ago we did their engagement photos on Naples Beach.  If you missed those pictures click here and you can see the blog  Nikki and Greg’s Engagement on Naples Beach

Nikki’s something blue for her wedding day were her pair of electric blue high heels pictured below.  Her sister Kristen had one of my engagement images on canvas with the words to their favorite song and presented it to Nikki and Greg as a surprise at their rehearsal dinner party.  The guests were entertained all evening by DJ Ron Rutz.  Flowers were done by Cape Coral Floral Design and the wedding cake was by Michelson’s.  I didn’t taste the cake but they said it was so good all the guests had 2 pieces each!

Melissa and Tom Marry at the Pink Shell Beach Resort and Spa

Melissa and tom 01 Melissa and tom 12 Melissa and tom 16 Melissa and tom 03 Melissa and tom 04 Melissa and tom 11 Melissa and tom 02 Melissa and tom 05 Melissa and tom 06 Melissa and tom 08 Melissa and tom 07 Melissa and tom 09 Melissa and tom 10 Melissa and tom 14 Melissa and tom 13 Pink Shell Wedding Photography, Fort Myers Beach, Florida.  Pink Shell Beach Resort and Spa.  Everyone had lots of fun this weekend at Melissa and Tom’s Wedding at the Pink Shell on Fort Myers Beach  Pink Shell Resort Website There were a few tense moments because of the weather and it showered for a few minutes before the beach ceremony.  Once the brief shower was over, the weather cleared up and it was beautiful sunshine for the rest of the day.  The ceremony was performed by Dr. Daniel T. Lamey and Jim Tucke played the steel drum on the beach and entertained during the reception.  Flowers were done by Heaven Scent Florist.  Melissa and the bridesmaids dresses were from That Special Dress.  The Wedding Cake was done by Mason’s Bakery.  Pink Shell Wedding Photography.

After cocktails on the terrace the guests dined in the Captiva Ballroom.  Melissa’s father gave a hilarious toast to the couple that had all the guests laughing.

Louise and Andrew Marry at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort

The weather was perfect for their intimate ceremony performed by Bob Mitchell
Clint Wiley played the guitar on the beach and was the DJ for their  dinner and reception. Flowers were done by The  Marco Island Florist
and the Marco Wedding Photography was beautiful.  We had fun with the entire party on the beach taking pictures afterwards.  Once the
sun set we went up to the Marco Beach Ocean Resort terrace where Louise and Andrew had
their first dance as man and wife and enjoyed dinner outdoors, overlooking the Gulf.
They are off to Antigua now on their honeymoon.  I am hoping some of their friends in London
may need a wedding photographer soon so I can go over and see them again.  I love to travel to
destination wedding and am looking for more opportunities to travel to weddings in the next few years.  Give me a call if you are planning a wedding in an interesting venue or destination.

Michelle and Kevin Marry at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort

Last evening Michelle and Kevin were married at Marco Beach Ocean Resort It was a beautiful ceremony performed by Bob Mitchell with their friends and family who flew in from Long Island, NY. Clint Wiley played the steel drum on the beach and then his whole band with their light show entertained on the terrace for cocktail hour and the reception.  All of the flowers were from the Marco Island Florist Jade and her staff at the Marco Beach did a wonderful job as usual.  The weather and sunset was perfect for beautiful Marco Wedding Photography.  The party was lots of fun and Clint and the band had the group dancing all evening.  Hope you enjoy the Marco Wedding Photography.

Eileen and Mark’s Engagement

Lindsay and Rick’s Engagement

Engagement Photography, Fort Myers, Florida. Fort Myers Engagement Photographer  This weekend I met Lindsay and Rick in downtown Fort Myers for their engagement shoot.  There was so much construction and so many roads closed off we had great difficulty getting to our meeting spot.  Thank goodness for cell phones, we met at an alternate location.  To our surprise and good fortune there was an antique car show going on and the car owners were gracious enough to let us photograph their old cars and trucks.  Lindsay and Rick like the distressed image look so I added some textures and aged the photos in my computer.  We had a great time downtown and they made a connection with one of the car owners and may have one of the cars at their wedding at Bellaserra in March.

Casey and Jonathan’s Engagement in Connecticut

Engagement Photography.  Milford, Ct.     Last evening we went out to the Milford Duck Pond and Woodmont Beach in Milford, Connecticut to do Casey and Jonathan’s Engagement Images.  They will be married next July and I was so happy I could do their engagement shoot while I was in town this week.  They are a great couple and with Casey’s parents we went all over Milford and had lots of fun.  Here are a few images from last night…
