Casey and Jon Marry in Sandy Hook, Connecticut

I grew up in Connecticut and my brother and sister and friends still live there so I am happy to visit for any occasion.?My sister worked with me as the 2nd photographer?and my brother?and his wife were guests so we had lots of fun.?Last time I was in Connecticut in September we did Casey and Jon’s Engagement so I was very happy to see them again and join in for the wedding festivities and destination wedding photography.??With the engagement images I created a sign in album that was very popular with the guests for her destination wedding photography. The wedding was held in Sandy Hook at Mary Kay and Tommy’s home (Casey’s parents).? They have a fabulous home and tremendous back yard where the ceremony and reception were held.? Casey and all the girls looked gorgeous.? Loree’s Catering www.lorees.com?did a wonderful job catering.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Casey and her dad danced the first dance to a song he wrote and recorded especially for her wedding. The music in the background for the slideshow is the song her dad wrote and recorded for her and Casey’s voice as a 4 year old is also on the soundtrack.

Diana and Clayton Marry at Cape Harbour

Clayton and diana 03c Wedding Photography at Cape Harbour in Cape Coral, Florida.  Cape Harbour This weekend we had the pleasure of photographing Diana and Clayton’s Wedding at Cape Harbour www.capeharbour.com It was the first event I attended there and it was a fabulous evening. Cape Harbour is an ideal destination for a wedding with furnished luxury apartments with a waterfront view, shopping, restaurants and bars, the Wedding Pavilion and fantastic catering.

Diana looked beautiful and made a dramatic arrival at the wedding in a  hand built Italian Riva speedboat driven by Captain Will.  The wedding was held in the air conditioned Pavilion on the marina.  The sunset over the marina was breathtaking and made for beautiful wedding photography.

Pignoli’s Epicurean Marketplace www.pignolicapeharbour.com which is also located in the complex catered the affair.  No one went hungry with chef Robert cooking.  Not only did the food look fantastic but it tasted great too.  Chef Robert cooked the filet mignons over the grill right outside the tent.  The guests were so impressed with their dining experience they were going outside to greet him personally and shake his hand.  DJ Phil Amandro www.djwithapa.com entertained the guests all evening and had everyone dancing up a storm. The Wedding photography was just beautiful.  The flowers and bouquets were done by Xpress Floral of Fort Myers www.expressfloral.net and they were stunning.   Diana and Clayton retired to their penthouse honeymoon suite after the wedding and are off on a Carribbean cruise for their honeymoon.  Cape Harbour Wedding Photographer

Brooke and Tyler’s Wedding at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort

Brooke and tyler 06 Brooke and tyler 01 Brooke and tyler 07 Brooke and tyler 02 Brooke and tyler 04 Brooke and tyler 05 Brooke and tyler 03 Marco Wedding Photography.  Marco Beach Ocean Resort Earlier this week I had the pleasure of photographing Brooke and Tyler’s Wedding at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort.  Both families had traveled from Missouri to join Brooke and Tyler for their wedding celebration.  Cynthia Mitchell of A Beautiful Florida Wedding www.abeautifulfloridawedding.com was the officiant and the ceremony was lovely .  Brooke and Tyler and ten of their family members released live butterflies during the ceremony in honor of Brooke’s deceased mother.  The Marco Wedding Photography was just beautiful.  After a champagne toast on the beach the families traveled to a local restaurant for dinner.  Now Brooke and Tyler are off to St Lucia for a great honeymoon. Carrie and Joe Marry at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort

The marco wedding photography on the beach and at sunset was fabulous.  We all went down to the beach for formal marco wedding photography pictures and the clouds were very dramatic and there was a spectacular sunset.  Clint Wiley www.clintwiley.com entertained everyone all evening and did a great job.  The food and ambiance at the resort was wonderful.  After the cake cutting www.ellascakes.com Carrie and Joe and I snuck off to take a few images in the gardens at the resort.  They are off to the Bahamas for their honeymoon.    Tomorrow I am back at the Beach Resort to photograph Brooke and Tyler’s wedding…   Doreen

Carolyn and Paul Marry at Sea on the Sanibel Harbour Princess

Carolyn and paul 01a Carolyn and paul 11jpg Carolyn and paul 01 Carolyn and paul 07 Carolyn and paul 08 Carolyn and paul 09 Carolyn and paul 04 Carolyn and paul 02 Carolyn and paul 03 Carolyn and paul 06 Carolyn and paul 05 Carolyn and paul 13jpg Sanibel Wedding Photography.  Sanibel Harbour Princess Carolyn and Paul were married last night off the coast of Sanibel on the Sanibel Harbour Princess   www.sanibel-resort.com .  It was a beautiful wedding performed by their good friend Sue Strachan who is a minister in Connecticut.  Paul’s 4 sons flew in from all over the country to attend as well as Carolyn’s 2 daughters.  It was a lovely evening cruise.  The dinner was delicious and it was a very intimate and relaxed evening.  Stay tuned for some pictures later today and a slideshow.  Carolyn and Paul have planned a whole weekend of events for the family.  The guys left this morning for a 6:30 am fishing tournament.  We are meeting up with the group later tonight for a barbeque and (hopefully) fish fry.  Stay tuned to hear who catches the biggest fish!

Karen and Andy’s Engagement on Marco Island

Hideaway Beach Club Last night I was back on Marco Island to photograph Karen and Andy’s engagement.  I will be photographing their wedding in August at the Hideaway Beach Club so I was excited to work with them on their marco engagement photography.  We were scheduled originally to go out on their boat.  The weather looked questionable so we drove to the beach and to the Esplanade for pictures instead.  Here are a few of my favorites from their marco engagement photography I thought you might like to see…   Doreen

Kim and Blake Marry at The Hideaway Beach Club in Marco Island

Blake and kim 03a Blake and kim 01a Blake and kim 02a Blake and kim 05a Blake and kim 10jpg Blake and kim 12jpg Blake and kim 11jpg Blake and kim 02 Blake and kim 09jpg Blake and kim 04 Blake and kim 03jpg Blake and kim 07 Blake and kim 08 Blake and kim 01 Blake and kim 06 Marco Wedding Photography,  Hideaway Beach Club This weekend we had the pleasure of photographing Kim and Blake’s wedding at the Hideaway Beach Club on Marco Island www.hideawaybeachclub.org .  There were a few rain showers in the afternoon but the sun came out and they had beautiful blue skies and lots of sunshine for the marco wedding photography. It was a beautiful ceremony and Blake’s grandfather did a special reading dedicated to Kim and Blake. Afterwards, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the clubhouse lobby and then moved into the dining room for dinner and dancing.  The Paris Production Band www.parisproduction.com from Pompano Beach entertained the guests all evening.  The Marco Wedding photography was beautiful with the sunset and dramatic skies.  Stay tuned for the slideshow later this week…
